Chakra Meditation – Getting the Right Balance

Research has it that human life is all about emotions and feelings. This is because the many things we do in life bring out different emotions. Some emotions are negative in nature since they cause anxiety, stress and other pressures of life. It is for this reason that meditation was brought forward. One of the unique types of meditation is the chakra meditation. This technique employs different concepts to bring about chakra balancing. Finally, you get chakra healing.

So, let us understand chakra meditation. Energy centers of our bodies are called chakras. Our physical and mental wellbeing is affected if the chakras are blocked. Each chakra has a color. This distinguishes it from the other chakras. The colors range from red to orange among others. An example is the red colored root chakra.

Now, let us understand the different chakras that must not be blocked for chakra clearing. First, there is the red colored root chakra. It is found at the base of the spinal cord. You will be strong and secure if the root chakra is balanced. On the other hand, if this chakra is blocked, you will feel anxiety, fear and have a weak immune system. The second chakra is the sacral chakra. It is orange in color and found below the belly button. A balanced sacral chakra makes people feel happy, friendly and passionate. If it is blocked, sexual difficulties, low inspiration levels and emotional instability may be felt.

Located between the ribcage and navel is the red colored solar plexus chakra. Your productivity and energy will be high if this chakra is balanced. If imbalanced, energy levels are reduced, insecurities arise and procrastinations. The heart chakra on the other hand is green. This is located within the heart and is responsible for love. Your love and spiritual affairs are good if it is balanced. If blocked, it leads to loneliness, hatred and chest pains.

The chakra responsible for our communication is the throat chakra, which is located in the throat and is blue in color. When this chakra is balanced, we are clear in communication and are equally good at listening. If it is imbalanced, social anxiety and tension while talking can arise. On the other hand, the third eye chakra is indigo in color and located on the forehead. Our communication with the universe is good if it is balanced. The results of unbalanced third eye chakra are anxiety, depression and headaches.

The last chakra is the crown chakra which is violet in color. Located at the top of the head, it needs to be balanced for you to be open minded for divine guidance. When blocked, you will have problems with the nervous system, be stressed and confused. Generally, it is good to have guided chakra meditation. With guidance, the results will be great.
